Tonle Sap, Cambodia (Aug. 21, 2007)

August 30, 2007

This was a quiet cruise down a river leading to the Tonle Sap Lake, the biggest lake in the Indo-Chinese Peninsula. The water is naturally brown, but despite the people living actually on it, the river remains to be very clean. Reflects discipline in adversity.

Little peddler girl crossed over to our boat from her father's little motorboat to sell drinks. We bought some from sheer sympathy for their plight.
